Abhinav Chalasani

Hi, I'm Abhinav Chalasani, a 10th grader at Mission San Jose High School. I love to go swimming and run. I also love science. I help manage most of our school subject classes like math, history, and writing while also helping with our language department classes to make sure they are all running smoothly.
Our team mainly helps do the inside work of YAPA kids to make sure the classes run smoothly when the kids attend and the teachers are able to teach with no issues.
Why do you like helping out YAPA Kids?
I love giving kids access to free extra curricular classes to further learn subjects they want to know more about.
What have you learned from teaching at YAPA Kids or otherwise contributing to the organization?
I have learned that doing everything alone is never the answer and that you should always be open to ask for help.
