About me
I am a junior at Cupertino High School and as the Director of Team Expansion, I lead the Team Expansion team and develop strategies to attract teachers through social media outreach.
Why do you like helping out YAPA Kids?
My favorite part is being able to directly impact thousands of students. I cherish being able to increase access to education to students across the world. I also treasure the opportunity to work with different people to solve problems at all levels of YAPA Kids.
What have you learned from your experiences at YAPA Kids?
The most important skill I learned is effective communication. Whether it is communicating with parents through emails, students during classes, or with other teachers in meetings, I have realized that in order to get things done, there must be efficient communication. As a result, I have become more confident in speaking up and making sure everyone's ideas are heard.
