What is your favorite part of being a teacher?
Being a teacher gives us a chance to connect with younger minds and to give back to the community. Not only are we the ones doing the teaching, we learn things from our students as well and I love it. I've always believed in a better world from the youth and being able to be a part of that change is truly beyond amazing in my eyes.
What do you enjoy about teaching here at YAPA Kids?
I enjoy the welcoming environment. I've met some really cool people and have been able to gain so much from this experience. I love being able to give what I have to offer for the great cause behind YAPA Kids.
What have you learned from teaching kids/at YAPA Kids?
I've learnt the concept of patience in responsibility, how to handle certain situations and the good in new things. I've never taken part in something with the goal of solely educating minds and had I not tried it, I wouldn't have been able to experience the great time I've had with YAPA Kids.
