A bit about me and my role at YAPA Kids:
Hi! I’m Elizabeth, a senior at Cupertino High school. As the director of advancement, I host meetings and lead the events such as multicultural day. Being an Exec member allows me to not only build bonds within my team, but also with the fellow exec members where I am able to communicate with the different aspects of YAPA Kids and reach out regarding activities requiring the collaboration of multiple teams to continue improving YAPA Kids as an organization.
What do you enjoy about helping YAPA Kids?
I enjoy teaching and interacting with children along with planning fun events and seeing the smiles on everyone's faces. Throughout this process, I have been able to build bonds with other volunteers along with seeing the impact that the YAPA Kids team have made.

Team Members
The overarching mission of the advancement team is to fundraise money for YAPA Kids, along with our secondary goal of connecting individuals of YAPA Kids with events. We hope to not only help fundraise through grants and events but also help individuals of YAPA Kids to foster a sense of community.
