What is your favorite part of being a teacher?

I love seeing my students having so much fun while learning. Whether it's designing curriculums or just teaching a class, I've enjoyed connecting with kids on a deeper level. Seeing them smiling warms my heart and gives me the motivation to do better for each coming class.

What do you enjoy about teaching here at YAPA Kids?

All the teachers I've met here have been so incredibly welcoming and I have loved meeting new people. YAPA Kids also provides such a diverse subset of classes, so it was easy to find which subjects I wanted to teach. No matter what skill level you come with, everyone is always willing to help and it's an encouraging environment to be in.

What have you learned from teaching kids/at YAPA Kids?

Teaching has taught me how to communicate effectively, especially through a digital environment. I think that teaching kids is an entirely different kind of experience than just discussing with classmates during zoom classes. I've gained so much from creating curriculums and teaching because it has taught me how to organize and express my thoughts in a clear and engaging way, so that students get the most out of every lesson.
