Program Description: YAPA Kids Art is a fun and relaxing class allowing students to create exciting arts and crafts projects. This class provides a source of entertainment everyone can enjoy in the comfort of their homes, while developing important life skills such as patience, concentration, and hand-eye coordination. We cover both traditional and digital art, as well as other hands on activities such as origami. All skill levels are welcome, and no prior knowledge is needed. From drawing to origami, local high schoolers will guide you through each step in creating beautiful masterpieces.

Hello! My name is Chanelle Mao and I am currently a junior at Los Gatos High School. Art is one of my many hobbies, and I am excited to spread my passion through teaching at YAPA Kids Art. I have taken art for 6+ years at Yun Hua Fang Art Studio, and enjoy pencil and color pencil sketches the most. I also do digital art, which is self-taught. All in all, I look forward to teaching young students the ways of drawing!

Hello Hello! My name is Harshini Nujella, and I’m currently a sophomore at Cupertino High School. I have practiced art for the past 10 years, and been taking personal classes for 8 years. When it comes to my experiences, I have worked with multiple mediums like watercolor, paper mache, graphite, pencil, oil pastels, and acrylic. I am excited to help students’ improve their artistic skills as well as create innovative pieces. I am here to share my passion with young artists, and I can’t wait to see where their imagination takes them!

Hi! my name's Erin Yang and I'm a rising junior at Mission San Jose High School. I've done and enjoyed art and especially origami since elementary school and am really excited to be teaching! I have not had much formal instruction but my main medium is watercolor, and I've done that quite a lot. I love drawing/painting nature, especially plants and animals as well as characters from the occasional Ghibli film!
