What is your favorite part of being a teacher?

My favorite part of being a teacher is the students! I love hearing their little voices answer questions and just their love for learning new things!

What do you enjoy about teaching here at YAPA Kids?

I enjoy the community. I really like how we’re all high school students, we’re all struggling with the same things. We all have a mutual understanding for each other. I love being able to relate to such a large group of peers.

What have you learned from teaching kids/at YAPA Kids?

I’ve learned that I love working with students. Prior to teaching at YAPA Kids I’ve never worked with students or children before. Nonetheless, after this experience it’s safe to say I love teaching!
