What is your favorite part of being a teacher?
My favorite part of being a teacher is being able to connect with these young students at a deeper level and have fun with them, creating a positive, social space for their continued growth. Seeing them learn so quickly makes me excited every time I come to teach.
What do you enjoy about teaching here at YAPA Kids?
YAPA Kids' mission is not just content focused — it brings out the excitement and joy in our students and every project and activity is designed around encouraging them to further pursue their interests on a deeper level and be curious wherever they are.
What have you learned from teaching kids/at YAPA Kids?
Teaching and working with these kids has really shown me their resilience and exuberantly happy attitude, even despite the sudden drastic changes in their educational environment. The way they carry themselves at such a young age is remarkable and genuinely inspiring.
