What is your favorite part of being a teacher?
My favorite part of being a teacher is to be able to help kids learn new concepts with full understanding. I love to know that I am teaching them well while they have fun at the same time. I also love it when I see the kids interacting and participating willingly as it helps me feel confident with my teaching ability.
What do you enjoy about teaching here at YAPA Kids?
I mostly teach science and python right now, but what I love teaching here at YAPA Kids are concepts that intrigue me but also the students. I especially love doing activities with them that involves learning and gaining information, such as doing jeopardy and a lab.
What have you learned from teaching kids/at YAPA Kids?
What I have learned from teaching at YAPA Kids is definitely how to be more organized, especially when it comes to preparing new lessons and things. I also learned to be more open to my ideas and share them aloud instead of remaining silent. I also learned to be open to criticism and use it as my advantage to improve and become better.
